McDaniel CoachingHelping generations of job hunters...

Whether her clients know what they want to do or don’t have a clue; whether they’re just entering the world of work or are reinventing themselves - Gail helps them create a path to land the job just right for them. This work is her passion.

Gail McDaniel is an NYU-certified executive, life, and career coach, and founder of McDaniel Coaching, LLC and www.MyCareerRx.com. She works with individuals and groups, specializing in coaching Generation Y (those born between 1980 and 2000.)

Among her assignments, Gail has worked as a career consultant at Lee Hecht Harrison, a global talent management company and she has also consulted with corporations such as Johnson & Johnson on how to manage Generation Y in the workplace. Her expertise has been quoted in The Trophy Kids Go to Work, by Ron Alsop, the Wall Street Journal and Marketwatch.com. Asa Aarons featured her on a NY1 program investigating the world of employment.

After 30 successful years as a business executive, Gail, herself, is the model of reinvention.

Key to her success – and her clients – is Ms. McDaniel’s ability to help clients identify their own skills and passions to reinvent themselves and stand out. She then helps clients build on their strengths in order to best advertise themselves. She has presented her success model in a number of customized how-to workshops and seminars for organizations such as NYU, Financial Women’s Association, CaTS, Pestalozzi World and Scarsdale Teen Center.

Because she has been active in such organizations as the Society of Human Resource Management, Human Resources New York, Association of Career Professionals and International Coach Federation, she’s plugged into the fluid world of jobs and job-hunting.

Gail is certified in Color Q Personality Assessments and has worked extensively with the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator to help her clients identify their personality type and better understand who they are in terms of their career, ideal work environment, job search strategy and innate strengths and weaknesses.

Ms. McDaniel earned her Master’s Degree from NYU in Management and her BA from Oklahoma State University in Merchandising.
